CNC Machinist

We are looking for an experienced and reliable CNC Machinist to join our Fusion Coolant Systems team. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of our testing by setting up, editing programs when necessary, monitoring and documenting our tests for quality. To succeed in this position, you will be detail-oriented and hardworking, demonstrate a strong working knowledge of CNC-controlled mills and lathes and have working experience with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls.   



  • Check that CNC machinery is in good working order before set-up
  • Set up machinery to successfully conduct the run as specified
  • Conduct all programming editing as required
  • Monitor the run throughout the cycle, checking that specifications are met
  • Perform all necessary machine maintenance and use equipment properly
  • Work safely at all times
  • Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized
  • Strive to meet quotas without compromising quality
  • Hold yourself to a high standard of quality, taking pride in your work
  • Be available for overtime during high volume seasons


  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a CNC Machinist or other relevant role
  • Significant hands-on experience working on a production floor
  • Able to successfully set up, and run production
  • Able to organize and document information
  • Solid necessary math skills, including measuring and keeping count records
  • Able to read and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instruction
  • Significant knowledge of CNC machine operation and maintenance
  • Commitment to safety always
  • Able to perform physically demanding work—standing, bending, lifting 25 lbs regularly
  • Positive attitude, reliable, and a team player
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office
